Next Academy Pack Hypervenoms
In a way they are nothing new, in a way they are. Year by year Nike releases a Academy Pack which is a pack of blackouts or almost-blackouts. In theory the exciting pat of it, except the colorway, is the model that in the meantime got it's new generation. After that, next year we see just a re-release.
If you remember the last one you know, that the Academy pack was also a... Tech Craft pack! A special leather edition of a boots, that in most cases are normal synthatics. Because of that, even when the current Hypervenom is over one year old we will get it's first synthetic, blackout edition.
We don't know when the pack will be released, but with this leak we got to know that it will really be! Only leaks that we got previously were the Legend and Premiere and that made us thing that just the "classics" may be black. There will be more. Surely the Mercurial, and, who knows, maybe the Phantom Vision, which were known previously as the FTR10? Does blackout FTR10 ring a bell? Yes, their first colorway is suppose to be black!
Red TiempoX Ronaldonho football boots
We just showed you a leak of another colorway dedicated to Ronaldinho and here's the third one. As far as we know that's it, there will be no more, but of course we hope that Nike will get back to this player with special Legend colorways or even more.
This one is red. We have to say, despite us not liking rally the idea of this boot, which we think should have been done way better, we like the colorway. It looks really great and probably many psycho-fans will have the idea to wear them. That is of course, if they on't share our opinion that Nike should do more here.
With all that we said about this model we have to point out, that this is the first time when Nike made a special player edition JUST in indoors and turfs. Or did we miss something? We're searching for positives here really, but with no doubt that's true.
White TiempoX Ronaldonho football boots
The story will continue. We guess that not just in case of Ronaldo de Lima, even long after the player retires Nike will remind us of his greatness by new special editions. Few months back Nike released a special edition of indoors and turfs in the TiempoX line. It was a renewed concept of the first Ronaldinho boot.
Now we will get a second colorway. It's a unusual strategy, to release the same boot with different variation with such a long break between them. If you look for any changes, don't bother Only thing is that it's white and it look way better than the previous one. At least for us.
For us this edition is not good enough. It's Ronaldinho. And this isn't a boot that would be great in any aspect. When we think of this player we expect Nike to do more. Even a cleated remake of the original Ronaldinho bot would be better. That's not really a big deal, we're just saying.
Our opinion about the Deadly Strike football boots pack.
Not so long ago adidas unveiled a new collection of football boots and few days back it landed in stores. It's one that we knew about a long time back. First of all one of adidas stars, Karim Benzema leaked the colorway of X17, also the Predator had it's first leak in a variation that belongs to this new pack. It's name is Deadly Strike
The pack contains five boots. As you can expect the fifth is the second colorway of NEMEZIZ made for Leo Messi. The same the he wore in the memorable game with Savilla. Two versions of NEMEZIZ are completely different. Messi's one is rather dark, the serial one is the lightest in whole pack. We like the second better and it's not about the player.
Surprising part of the pack is Copa. Just the fact that we got a new colorwy. Previously adidas had the tendency to use this model to tease a future colorway. That's not what happens here. We have a violet boot that looks decent. Quality of the leather in Copa was always good, and on photos in this colorway it looks exceptionally great.
Predator is a strange story. The top version's color, even the base looks different than on the cheaper ones. We like the 18+ as hell but other ones are something that dosen't really catch our eyes. Visual side of the Deadly Strike predators reflects what wee see when it comes to performance. 18+ seems to be way more better than the 18.1 than it should be.
X17 is a boot that we talked a lot last months, especially in this colorway. We expect it to be the last one, that is if adidas doesn't play to say goodbye in a special way. We know that there will be a X18 and showed it to you many times already. We don't know if that's because we know about the continuation, or is it really too much at this point, but after two generations of a boot that is pretty, but was seen too many times, we are bored with this one.
Few future colorways of Puma FUTURE ONE football boots
All of these boots you already saw in our previous articles. We have to say, that last few months was probably a time when we had the biggest numbers of articles about Puma cleats. It's hard to not notice, that if a brand makes good football boots, the obvious outcome is our interest. Good to see Puma back in form after a horrible last year.
The boot that we have here is on one hand something that we know for a long time, on the other a mystery. In the title we wrote 18.1, but many times we referred to them as 19.1. The truth is that they will be released pretty soon and the name will probably be the second one. Puma will probably change the way that adidas does things. The number refers to the year a generation will end, not start.
One thing worries us. This mean that One 18.1, which is a model that we really like will ba the shortest-living Puma cleat ever, and let's remember, that the evoTOUCH already had a really short lifetime. It really is a downside, but if the 18.1 will turn out to be OK we won't mind it.
One of good things to say about Puma is that they went back to being not just good producers of quality boots, but also good looking ones. Also the future release has some great colorways what you can see here today. Orange one looks great, one with turquoise also, even the darker one, which is a type that we don't usually like looks amazing.
These here are the serial releases, Puma will surely surprise us with some player-versions and special editions as they always do. Let's keep in mind that also this one will have a synthetic and leather upper version. That is if Puma won't change it's plans. One last thing to wonder, maybe the brand will decide to do in this one what they didn't end up doing in the previous. We mean the laceless design that we saw on some samples.
Final chapter of the CR7 Mercurial story.
For some now Nike is telling us the Cristiano Ronaldo story by his boots. The last colorway, first in the new Mercurial generation is the sixth one. Of course there were more CR7 boots, it's just that the previous ones were not so-called "chapters". Today we have a leak of next CR7 boots. Here they are.
Photos were presented by Pjimenez71. As far as we know this one will be the last chapter of the story. We have to say, that we are glad about that. Sticking to something from the players way to the top is always a kind of limitation. Now designers will have more space to do whatever they want to.
It seems that they are already starting to do so. Design of this boots makes us think of... nothing particular. We always had a idea about what the story is about. Here we have a orange net. Does that ring your bell? We are confused. Who knows, maybe, if that one is the last part of the story it's about something that will be revealed at the same moment that the boots go out? Who knows.
From the visual side, these boots look similar to the launch colorway, at least when you look at them from distance. Up close we see what's going on. The interesting past is the back. Is it just us or does that look like carbon? We wonder what is the idea here. Doubt that this is really carbon, but maybe it's a teaser of something like the next version of the Mercurial SL?
Pink Predator 18+ football boots
Week back we presented a pink adidas Predator 18/3 football boot. The obvious first thought was that it's a woman's edition. Till now we don't know if that's true, what we do know is another thing that we wondered about back then. Will there be a top version. Yes it will.
Here it is. The pink adidas Predator 18+ football boot. It looks astonishing and we surely hope that this one will be a unisex and available for men as well. Sure, pink might not be a best color for a man but in football boots it has a own story started by the Vapor IV Rosa.
Good photos of X18.1 blackout
Another week brought us some new photos of the upcoming X18. Normally we would be excited about colorways that we newer knew, most of the times when we see blackouts they play they role and raise the level of excitement, but in the end not really show us much. Photos that we have today push the blackout experience to a new level.
That's because the photos are good, bright and show the boot in detail. This is the moment when we start to see the blackouts as a model that we desire. Despite serial releases, these prototypes, where they somehow reach internet auctions are a valuable and rare collectable item. But let's go to what's important, the boot itself. The thing that strikes us is the pattern on the upper that leaves clean, flat stripes. We didn't saw it when the color made us look on other things.
X17.1 looks great and it probably will also be great when it comes to performance. Because the back part we see it as a modified, synthetic version of the Ace 17.1L. You must see the that. Along with the net tongue area that we talked about in one of previous articles it looks like a really promising boot. Let's hope we're right!
Special edition Mbappe limited Mercurial
It's the second time when Nike releases a special Mercurial in it's newest generation. Not bad for a boot that is about two months old. First, the "safari" one was something that we not quite liked. The artist that collaborated there normally makes handbags. He used a safari print that is kind of iconic for Mercurial line and made it something of his own. Not good. Here we have a different story. Yes, there is a man that doesn't have much to do with football, but ha made something really new and fresh. This is what Nike says about the new release:
"In the eyes of Virgil Abloh, the lineage of Nike’s Mercurial football boot is filled with great storylines. He’s quick to reference the players who’ve worn it — the likes of Kylian Mbappé — and considers it one of sport’s most dynamic and exciting product lines. Beyond, he says he’s excited to leave his own stamp on the contemporary game with his take on the new Mercurial Vapor 360.
“For this Mercurial, I was interested in bridging the gap between foot and eye coordination,” says Abloh. “All the dots on the boot represent an optimal place to strike the ball.”
The idea is two fold: First, to help the wearer recognize where he or she should hit the ball' and second, to present a powerful message to the opposition."
There are two more things to mention about this new Mercurial. First is that Mbappe himself got a Superfly. This version won't be available to buy, at least as far as we know. The second is that at the moment of showing them Nike didn't say how much of these will be available, or will they be available at all. If Mbappe got a Superfly, that we guess that the Vapor isn't made just to pose for pictures. Probably at the point this will be published we will already know how many of these will be available to the public.
As it is for the design we absolutely love it. Something unusual is what Mercurial is about. Just look at Vapor I, it was a boot completely out of the box, and not just in the literal sense. It surely fits the line and we hope for more fruitful collaborations to come. However... we feel that Nike could done this on their own. A added name isn't really a added value here. At least not for us, clients.
White-gold Nike Premier II
Nike Premier, also it's second generation is a typical classic boot. Sure, some may say that it isn't really old, because Nike released it not so long ago to be a competition for cleats like Copa Mundial or Kind, but it surely has all that a model like that should have. Not only it connects us to the old days on the field, but Nike uses it to remind us of some good times in ther products past.
When you see a white and gold football boot what do you think of? And if it has a swoosh on it? Sure, in most cases it will be the white and gold Tiempo Legend I R10. The same one which was seen probably millions of times in the Ronaldinho Ping-pong ad. Another one is a special limited edition Legend V inspired by the mentioned older model.
Here we have another one. The link to those two from the past is obvious and whole internet sees it. Even without any branding, under almost every Instagram picture we have #r10 or #ronaldinho hashtags. For us the Premier II is a decent boot for a good price. And with colorways like that they are even more attractive.
New photos of Hypervenom special edition
Aprils is the month when Nike will release this colorway. We showed it already on the Phantom III DF version. Here we have a lower-version model and that tells us something about what kind of "special" these will be.
We knew that this won't quite be a standard release. Nike is planning to make some kind of fuss about it. As you can see it's not one of these releases where we have numbered pairs etc. To be honest, we would surely like them as a everyday serial product because we just don't like them that much.
Both the colorway and unusual design are not something that catches our eye. Hypervenom isn't a boot that let's designers do a lot and here's the result of that. We wonder what will be the future of the line, that is the next after the new Phantom Vision (FTR10) to be replaced. With a new generation, or something completely new.
Two leaks of low-end adidas X18 boots
Leaks of X18 keep up coming. Many players wore the upcoming new release from adidas as blackouts on their trainings. The new X18.1 is commented to be the comeback of adizero and we surely share that thought. The top version, X18+ is however something completely new and gives us a similar excitement to one that we feels when years back adidas experimented in the F50 line with Crazylight or 99 gram boot.
However for now all we have is waiting and looking al leaks of another low-end versions in different colorways. Today once again we have the blue one. One on the front is probably the X18.3, however if you look closely on the back you see better boots, ending with the 18.1
And here we have something new. This is a colorway that we haven't seen before. It's also the X18.3, unless adidas changed the sole plat in its cheapest model. From time to time we see big progress made in the low-end boots so maybe this is another one. We doubt that, because we see few interesting things in this one, however we would surely like that to be true.
Blue pack of Nike boots? This time it's Tiempo!
Few articles back we showed you the blue Hypervenom Phantom III DF. We speculated about many blue Nike boots that are coming up. It turns out the this boot won't be a special release but a part of a whole back. We know that because another one was leaked.
It's the Tiempo. What we have here is the Tiempo Legend VII and a indoor. Pictures have been taken from Footballbootlism. It's calm, and we guess that this will be the climate for the whole collection.
Sure, we are waiting for pictures of the Mercurial, but the most interesting thing is if this will be the pack where we will still have the Magista, or maybe the new FTR10 will appear. We would love to see that boot in blue!
Blue Predator TANGO 18+
Who's got the new Predator in one of the top versions? Adidas surely have much to offer when it comes to his type of boots, especially when we also take the TR versions into consideration. We are expecting a new pack seen, and part of it will be this boot.
It's the blue Predator 18+ TANGO in TF version. Just like the top cleated one this doesn't look as similar to the cheaper ones as it normally does. The FT however has some elements in that green, or as some say "mint" color.
The boot looks great and what we like here, is that unlike the FG or SG versions, this really uses the BOOTS technology that isn't just a element of marketing, and really can make a difference.
Leather and gold Under Armour Magnetico?
Not so long ago Under Armour released a new model replacing the ClutchFit. The name is Magnetico. It's pretty good looking, however is doesn't seem to be a model that would count in competition, more something that you could buy as a option and because of curiosity.
Under Armour is giving us reasons to be curious because they have just released a new version of the Magnetico. Pretty interesting and worth of mentioning. The upper is made from leather. And not the front, but the entire upper! In the first colorway it's also gold, so it's hard not to notice them.
It's a interesting boot. On the side we see the characteristic patters. We guess that in the it has been made using a typical heating process. What's important, that it will probably give the right level of stiffness where it's needed. To be honest, this one is way more interesting for us than the synthetic. And that color!
Another look at New Balance Tekela
New blue colorway of the Hypervenom Phantom III DF
We guess that there will be lot of blue in near future from Nike. We had this color in the Mercurial, there were also two Tiempo colorways. Now we get another one, the Hypervenom Phantom III DF, that soon, or at least at the point of these being released will be 1,5 year old. Soon we should see first leaks of the next gen. Hopefully.
We have two thoughts about these. First, these remind us of the special edition of Hypervenom Phantom I, that was worn by Lewandowski. Only difference, that that one had also a yellow swoosh. Second, these repeated colors remind us of Nike's strategy of using the same colors in three different boots, but in different combinations. It happened after.. the last World Cup. Interesting.
Exotic football boots option - Atuza
Sometimes we get really surprised with a great boot that no one heard about. At least in some places. A brand that was noticed last year was ATHLETA with its O'Rei model, that got its second generation this year. Another one, that caught our eye lately is Athuza.
Despite the brand having a IG account (athuza.x.room25) we don't know much about it. It seems that it comes from Indonesia and the designer (he's name is Athuza) in one of us. A cleat fanatic that knows what football boots are about. You can see it in his work.
Few models that we see may not be the top of what modern technology has to offer, but they are surely designed well. they both look good, and try to give the player what he needs. We don't see things that we sometimes see from the big brands, that makes us as - how could you do something like that? Hare everything is on its place.
To be honest we are shocked to see that releasing a football boots can be done by what seems to be one of few people. We guess that it's just how things can be done in Asia:) For now we wish good luck for the creator and hope to see more of his work.
Low version of the white.orange Mercurial
Last week we showed you a low version of the upcoming Mercurial colorway. We expect i to be the one for the World Cup. Here is another one. Many times we wrote about many scenarios for the release date and strategy that Nike may take with these so let's leave it for now and just enjoy the boots.
Not often the top-end versions are being leaked so today we are lucky. Here is the Superfly VI, called also the Superfly 360 Elite. This time the sole plate is just one color, but with a sweet coral effect.
We can also expect some kind of a bonus with the swoosh. We expect it to be reflective. We think that the orange version looks way better then the one with the blue sole. What do you think?
Final version of the Joma Propulsion Lite II
Some time back we showed you a fantastic model of football boots. They were the Joma Propulsion Lite II. The first generation, that we also had in our hands made a very good impression. The second one as you know turned out to be just a sample prototype.
Here is how the boot looks like when it got released. This is the new Propulsion Lite. Pretty similar to the previous one, some things have been changed, it surely isn't a model that we should say something bad about. Or that would be the case if we hadn't see what Joma planned.
The prototype was way more interesting Better looking, and we think that also better prom the practical point of view because the flexible part would make the upper to hug our feet better. We are sorry that it wasn't released, however this one isn't also bad. We like it.
New photos of upcoming X 18.1. World Cup colorway?
Many times we wrote about the X18.1. We even were the first one to leak them and it was the very same colorway that we have for you today. Till now many things about the upcoming premiere were just speculations. For the first time we have photos showing us more details.
It is a boot with a very interested top part. We think that the top-inner part may act like rubber and "glue" the boot to our feet. This would be interesting. What we are bit more worried are the pads that we see in the inside of the boots. We saw something like that in Under Armour boots and few times from Nike and it never ended up to be a good choice. We hope that there's more than we see and it will turn out to be OK.
The X18.1 gives us a interesting front. The outside of the boot, which thanks to the lacing system gives us much space for control, when it will be combined with proper upper material will surely be something that we will say good things about The inside is little less slick, we see a structure that will surely let us control the ball when running and kicking. A stripe that we see on the inside is also a element that let's us know, that this model was well thought-through.
The top part of the tongue-area is obviously knitted and will let our foot breath. It seems to be kind of thick. When we look at the lacing system we think that this time it's a good thing because the thickness and softness of the knitted tongue will let the laces to be pushed into it, creating a system that will secure the foot stability. Many good things to say about the X18.1 as you see.
Special Nike Hypervenom for Icardi
Not so long ago Harry Kane got his special Hypervenom III for his 100 goal in the league. Another player was horned for the same achievement. It's Inter's Milan Mauro Icardi for the same number of shots that made it to the net.
The boot is is pretty similar to the one that Kane got, however few details made it way more appealing, at least in our opinion. It's mostly blue and has a big gold "100" on the side. Gold is also the sole plate and it looks really great. Too bad that Nike didn't to more fuss about them like they did with the previous special release. It also looks like these wont be released to the public, even in limited quantities. Too bad, but it's good that Nike remembered to honour the player and made these.
First leak of NEMEZIZ 18+? Interesting!
Normally we say that the sock-type football boot is getting boring and every time a brand releases one like that we are bit disappointed. One of last year's models that were different was NEMEZIZ. And also, it turned out to be really great! Now, when we are waiting for the new generation of X we forget that another one that will get the new version is the NEMEZIZ. And today we have a first leak of the new 18+
It is high! Another "sock" football boot, however obviously bit different from all that we previously knew. Is adidas reaching the level of quality, and because of that also confidence, that lets them redefine the football boots market and start all over? Another question, of the 18+ looks like that, what will Messi wear? We guess that we have to wait to see the first blackout training photo to know that.
Another WC adidas Predator colorway leak
It seems that both Nike and adidas didn't managed to keep their secrets when it comes to World Cup boots. or at least not all of them, because we think that we know a big part of what the big brands are planning to release in few months. We showed many adidas white boots, we also talked about the WC Predator.
Today, as a reminder we have another photo showing the upcoming premiere, This is the 18.1 version. Of course many of you know the colorway from the Predator X from few years back. We guess that a boot to pair this leak would be the first colorway of X18 that was ever leaked, and it was by us. THIS one.
Another leak of X18 indoor
We showed them already but when it comes to a new generation, and a line that we can expect a lot of it's never too much. What we have for you today is a new leak of upcoming X18 indoor. Looking at the size of it we think that this may be the JR version.
The blue-green colorway is the only one that we saw many times. This makes us think that this might be the first colorway to come. Probably somewhere around the last games of the Champions League. Remember, that last year when the X17 was presented we also got the NEMEZIZ, so we expect the same story this year.
Mercurial Superfly white Indoors
We still don't really know what's the story with Nike white football boots pack. It seems that there will be not one, but two. We already showed you two Mercurials, one with a blue sole, this is the one that we expect to see at the World Cup, and another with a red-orange mix on the heel and the swoosh on the side.
Here we have the MercurialX indoor in the second colorway. Their existence tells us that this probably won't be a limited, special edition. Using white flyknit so many times is still something very surprising for us. This of course doesn't mean that we don't like it. It's beautiful, as well as the chrome swoosh that has been moved from the front to the side of the boot.
Another Messis's NEMEZIZ football boot. Violet.
As you know April will be the month when we will see the next adidas serial collection containing the blue Predator, very light coloured NEMEZIZ and the last, green colorway of X17. There will be also a special Messi edition of the Nemeziz. Here it is.
We're really glad that adidas stopped making Messi's line and changed it to just a special colorway. We are also big fans of how adidas did it. Different pattern on the upper and leaving the original Messi16 sole plate are these special touches that proves that guys from adidas know what football boots are about.
The new colorway isn't the best one in our opinion, but let's face it, it doesn't have to be. Fans of the Barca's super-star will still like it, and that's the point. Offer products for those who want it, don't force it on people.
Low-version World Cup Mercurials leak
We have two Mercurial colorways to come. White-blue is the one that we expect to be the World Cup one. We already showed it in a pro version that you will surely find searching our archive. Here we have something that maybe interested for those who want to spend little less.
It's the low-version of the new Mercurial. We would love to say the name, normally it would be Victory DF but now, after adidas changed names of models we don't quite know them yet and honestly, we would like to stay with the old ones. World Cup boots are always something that sells in big quantities so we may expect lot of these on our football fields in the summer.
Orange Puma FUTURE football boots "live"
Puma FUTURE is a really important boot for Puma. We don't know if thst's the case in other countries, but in Poland people are really interested in it, and that doesn't happen often with that brand's products. We also like them a lot. Not just for the theoretical good quality but also for the looks.
Puma is planning to release many wonderful colorways,, we had some examples of good looking products in the past. We mean the special Griezmann edition or the latest "safari". Here we have another. Not a special one, this surely is a serial boot, but the way they look makes them look like something great anyway. Form all the leaks of future releases, this next to the chrome-green one is the best.
Leak of Naymar's yellow Nike Mercurial Vapor XII
We already know very much about next Cristiano Ronaldo boot, the first one in new generation., what is a big mystery is the rest of the players. Hopefully for us also Lewandowski, but one that we would expect to see earlier, and, let's face it, with a higher probability would be the one for Neymar. And here we have it. The first leak!
It's a yellow. Just as in previous editions made for Naymar the Swoosh has been moved to the side of the boot. We also see a new design beneath in. Upper color is surely inspired by the National team kit. Here we have a sample so we will get to see if, and what will be the differences to the final product. The boot that you see next to it is the new, upcoming FTR10 line model. We guess then, that this yellow Vapor XII will be released during, or even after the World Cup.
Adidas to release pink WMNS Predator?
In theory we have good news. In theory, the good news are addressed to the ladies. It's hard to expect that this boot that we have for you today isn't a woman's edition, however you may never know. Here is a new leak of future adidas colorway.
Obviously, this is a low-end version. Last time adidas released woman's colorways it was only the 18.3 level. This looks great and surely many would be interested, however we really hoe that the three stripes will do more and release also a pro model.
Mercurial CR7 chapter 6 Born Leader football boots
After few weeks of waiting since the fort leak today Nike presented the new boot for Cristiano Ronaldo. As we expected it has lots to do with the National team. At this point Nike have showed just Superfly, but surely there are also lower versions to come. This is what the Press release tell us about the boot:
Cristiano Ronaldo captained Portugal for the first time on February 6, 2007, the day after his 22nd birthday. The following year, he became the federation's standing skipper and has since gone on to set the record for most captaincies of his country — a record he extends with every Portugal appearance. Even when injured and unable to play (as he was in the final of the 2016 European Championship), Ronaldo has made a positive impact on his team through his leadership.
Chapter 6 in the series of seven CR7 boots focuses on Ronaldo’s role as the captain of his national team. As such, the palette of the boot complements Portugal’s traditional colors. “When you play for your country you want to win, you want to defend your colors,” confirms Ronaldo.
As far as we know today the boots will be available on nike.com, and on March 22 in other stores.
Next colorway of New Balance Furon 3.0 leak
Just as we told, the special colorway that New Balance will release soon isn't a Visero 2.0 exclusive but it will be also presented one boot that we like way more and is one of our favorite when it comes to performance. Here is the leak of New Balance Furon 3.0 in a colorway, that gives us a impression of luxury.
There is a way to be a good football boots producer. The steps have to be made in correct order. You can release "special" colorways but if the boot doesn't step up to the level that we expect this won't mean anything. Look at Concave. They experiment, but all that is nothing until they have a boot that is really interesting.
New Balance has one and as far as we know (or hope) the upcoming Tekela will also be a product that we can say few good things about. Good quality, performance, and now you can star with experiments. Let's remember, to not be like Puma and make something that people are not able to get because of bad distribution. New Balance is a company that is able to make everything how it should be. But being able doesn't mean that someone will do. Let's hop that this won't be the case with NB football
Will Nike release a black classic pack?
Black Nike football boots. What do you think of when you hear that. Academy Pack? Sure. The new What The Mercurial? Sure. These are two thirst that we thought about too. Is there space for more? Of course we have blackout prototypes, and we also know that the upcoming FTR10 will be presented first as a black limited edition. Want more?
We are not sure about the concept of a pack itself, but as you can see Nike will release two black cleats. The Tiempo in its seventh generation and of course the Pemiere II. They both look great, black surely fits to a classic boots, especially ones made from good quality materials.
We are not sure if there will be a classic black pack or is this just a part of future re-release of Academy Pack which appears one in a year, always with a new models update. Maybe this time the Premiere will be a part of it? Whatever happens and whatever is the idea standing behind them we will surely be happy to see them in stores.
New Umbro Accelerator Pro. Japan only.
This isn't a easy article to write. As you know, and you should from last Zaki's live that you can find on his personal FB profile or our YT channel (sorry, in Polish only) there are boots that were produced only in certain regions of world and foreign markets. One of these cleats is Umbro Accelerator. It seems that there is a new generation of this model, however as always it's hard to know everything here because all information that we can get is in Japanase. But we will try.
Interesting thing, is that the colorway of this boot is linked to one specific club. The Japanase Osaka Steelball playing in the J-League. The official release date was March 9. This isn't the first generation of Umbro Accelerator. It usually is kind of a power boot combining leather with synthetic elements. That's also the case this time. When you look at them, what do you see. For us one element stands out and it's the heel counter. very similar to what we had in the Tiempo Legend VI by Nike.
Boots like this or the Para Mexico that is made by Puma are a interesting part of football boots world. We don't really get why they are being produced like that but probably this is something important for the markets that they are available at and it's good to see that some companies remember about these little things. We think that buying a boot like that would be a good thing to do as one of cleat goals for 2018. So let it be.
Next colorway of New Balance Visaro 2.0 leak
This is a boot that we don't write often and to be honest we surely don't feel the need to do that. However, we are happy for New Balance to show us something good with the other model, Furon 3.0, so we will be happy to tell you about their upcoming product in hope that the next one won't be anything like that.
True, we don't like the Visero 2.0. In fact, we called them the ugliest boot of 2017. It's interesting how one brand can get such a award and at the same time in summery of 2017 be the one that made biggest progress.
This colorway is expected to be a limited edition. We guess that NB has a story to back this up. Despite the performance part, the colors themselves are something that we like and appreciate. We would like them better on Furon 3.0,and guess what, that something that we will present in one of our next articles
Samples of legendary Vapor I chrome/lime were different!
Legendary football boots are interesting. Samples are interesting. When you mix these two we have a really exciting story. Years pass, boots have been mentioned many times and it turns out, that there is still something that we didn't knew about them. Thanks to one of foreign stores that published their old catalog to celebrate the new "what the Mercurial" we saw something that we didn't saw before.
Often big shops, when they are preparing they graphics and for example catalogues they use sample football boots. To save time and prepare better. Thanks to that we can often spot differences between whet was planned and what finally got released. We wouldn't expect that a chrome/lime Vapor I that is one of most desired cleats in the world would have a sample because limited products often don't have ones. It turns out that these did.
As you can see, PDS in their old catalog used samples of the legendary limited Vapor. Both of them, the FG and SG are different. What's new for us is the color of the studs. It doesn't happen often that we like the serial ones better, and that's the case here. It's great to know that these were produced. With that we know, that probably somewhere there are still samples of these. They just might be the rarest boots on the planet!
Blue special Predator 18 live!
You already saw this colorway many times, but those of you who didn't read our article about the upcoming Predator 18+, where we showed it on catalog photos may be surprised. This boot is a part of the same collection as the violet and mint Pred 18.1 that we presented many times.
Here we have them again on live photos. We hear many questions about this model and know that many of you are planning to get a new predator. Let's remind our opinion about them after reviewing them in our YT TEPY TALK series. The 18.1 as a completely different boot than the 18+. The top on - our vote is yes. The 18.1 - definitely no!
New Mercurial - dangerous cleats?
You probably already saw it somewhere, Zaki showed it on his fanpage. Eren Derdiyok from Glatasaray suffered from... wait, he didn't. Many replay show a horrible thing that happened with players foot. Doctors say, that it's a miracle for him to not end up with few month without football. Honestly, can't understand how it is possible that his foot isn't in pieces right now but we guess that it's possible. Good for him. What's not good for us is the probable cause.
Yes, sure, the new Mercurials were not the cause here but obviously we would expect them to forbid something like that to happen. We had many questions about the new sole of the new Superfly VI and Vapor XII. Most of them were about the durability and that's still something that we have to wait to get answers. When we discussed these boots in our YT TEPY TALK series we talked about the difference between Superfly V. There the sole plate was really this. Doing what they did now Nike surely wanted it to look not much thicket in such comparisons.
Did they ended up with a plate to thin, and most of all, not hard enough? We are far from pointing at Nike and saying, that their products are dangerous, but let's face it, this shouldn't happen. We are surprised, and Nike should be happy that this didn't end up as a disaster and cancelling the new generation. We like the new model, surely would like to play in them but we are still not 100% sure that they are safe. If we would earn money on the field... we would surely think twice.
Future Mercurial colorway. What does it remind you of?
Want another Mercurial colorway? Here it is. White one. Did you noticed our last two leaks of them? We had both Vapor XII and Superfly VI. On theory meant to be released for the World Cup. But as you probably noticed they were really different, because the Superfly was blue, and Vapor red. Surely there is a story behind then and we will find out what it is shortly.
But what is this? Another white one? It looks like it. It has a swooch on the front. Will we have three different versions of white Mercurial. We don't know if you noticed the similarity, but Vapor had it's swoosh on the side, and when that happened in previous generation? Right, in Neymar's Vapors. And what do there semind you of?
We thought of the limited edition CR7 Vapor IX. The colorway is very similar. Maybe there will be a standard white release, one with red sole for Neymar wnd this one for Ronaldo?
Umbro released Kiwi Pack football boots collection
Not so long ago Umbro presented a new collection of their football boots and here's another one. We like that this brand serves us new stuff so often, even if not all of us are able to get the new releases on our local markets. Poland is terrible in this aspect, we think that the newest models here are like one year old...
But, let's get back to the good stuff. New collection is dark. BUT Umbro has this special way of doing things that on theory can be described as just "dark", but in the same time it isn't just another dark football boots pack. They are different. It seems that the model that does that is the Velocita. One only one that is good. The last "previous Umbro" one.
The previous Elipse Pack featured a new model, the Accuro II, which just as the second generation of Medusae is bad news for all of those who admired good quality over design that... you really got to have no taste to like. Sure, these two don't look bad in their new variations, but really, only the Velocita is a boot that we can say something good about.
It's definitely the best looking of all and a really thought-through boot. Sure, there's not much to think about in a typical seed-boot, but our experience tells us that just not messing things up is good news and many brands have a problem to do just that.
Last X17+ will be released in April
Nike slowed down with their released presenting one collection for two months, so no wonder that also adidas isn't in a hurry. When we knew about this colorway of X17 we were wondering how fast are we going the see the next generation. April seems fast because there would be still long way to go for the end of the season and the World Cup.
It turns out that April is the month where we are going to see what is expected to be the last colorway of current generation. Normally we present boots first on catalogue photos, then live this time it was the other way around. What you have above and beyond is the top level X17+
Every time we saw this high-end boot we were thrilled. To be honest this isn't as exciting, at least for us, than any of the previous ones. Maybe it's because of so many leaks that we have seen. You know who's fault is this. Benzema's! Real Madrid player was the first one to show us this colorway.
Special blue edition of adidas Predator 18+
Not so long ago we thought that these boots are not part of nay serial collection and will be a surprising bonus. Would you think, that these Predator 18+ that we show you today are not a limited special edition but just a top level of the upcoming violet Predator?
It is. Neither the main color looks the same as in the 18.1 that we showed you many times, we also don't have the mint color which was something characteristic about the whole collection. Don't get us wrong, we think that they are great and honestly, adidas couldn't make them much better, it's just surprising that they are so far from the rest of the line.
As far as we know these here along with a boot that is expected to be the last X 17 are meant to be released in April. So still we have to wait. Something tells us that adidas won't leave us with nothing and we can expect a little extra in the meantime.
White/blue Nike Tiempo Legend VII football boots leak
Are these the World Cup Tiempo Legend VII? No, they are not. We already showed you the WC classic boots and it was the first leak of tournament cleats that we presented. The question doesn't surprise us because we asked ourselves the same thing. They are very similar. Instead of a pretty clear white/blue mix here we have a gradient.
We have to say, it looks fantastic. It seems that in one point Nike is planning to change the design pattern on the Tiempo. We guess that this might happen after the world cup, with the release of a new line called FTR10. Maybe this is also the answer for many Mercurial boots that were leaked lately, and we supposed that are versions for different players. Maybe they are not and one of them is a part of the same collection that this Tiempo Legend VII belongs to.
Puma released FUTURE 18 Netfit... Safari
Puma released a new football boot. Actually, they did it some time back but this is a limited edition so we are pretty sure that we won't see it any time soon on our home market and we won't be late either way. This one is pretty special. Not just because of the looks but many similarities to other cleats.
As you probably already know these are being compared to the safari design that Nike often uses, especially the first CR7 boot, Superfly II. We have to say that sure, this looks similar but telling that Puma stole something is a complete nonsense. Come on, if someone stole something, we guess that so one of the world's cats would have every right to have serious complains here.
The other thing is the sole plate. It remands us of the first colorway of the Hypervenom Phantom II. For us this is even more obvious than the safari print. However, these similarities are just a interesting part of the story. The main one is that Puma once again released great looking special editions and that's what is important here. Way to go Puma. We love them! And heard many good opinions about the FUTURE as well!
Blackout What The Mercurial Superfly VI
When the Nike Mercurial line debuted in 1998 everything was shocking' the colors, materials, even the athlete who inspired it, were truly beyond any preconceived expectation.
Twenty years later, that element of shock and awe hasn’t dissipated. After all, the Mercurial has regularly shifted and constantly evolved to follow through on the promise it was built to deliver: faster football. To do that — and to help athletes at all levels score countless goals — the boot has regularly broken, rebuilt and broken the mold.
The second What the Mercurial (following the initial 2016 release) is no exception. With the 2018 Mercurial Superfly 360, complete with advanced Flyknit as its base, the boot begins life at the pinnacle of football innovation. Though simple in its monochromatic aesthetic, the What the Mercurial also advances the Mercurial silo’s lineage of progressive graphic application.
Here’s how:
1. The Mercurial 360’s Flyknit yarns have the capacity to be molded into a variety of textures and shapes.
2. This allowed designers to create a 2D graphic incorporating icons of the Mercurial lineage and translate it into a 3D element of the boot’s design.
3. The 3D design is created through a mold that heats and presses the design into the Mercurial 360 knit.
This process allows for distinctive nods to past boots and celebration of iconic Mercurial elements without compromising touch.
Here's how the Mercurial history maps on the boot:
The 20th anniversary What the Mercurial is packaged in a custom box complete with anniversary shoe bag. 1,998 pairs of What the Mercurial boots will be available. 20 pairs will release at NikeLab Milan on March 8, while the remaining will launch March 12 on nike.com and through select retailers.
Blackout prototypes! X18+, FTR10, Nemeziz 18+!
World Cup is coming, new models are too! As usually at this time of year brands are preparing to release new boots, or at least new generations. What are we waiting for? f course the next gen. X but also something that is even more exciting, the second NEMEZIZ. These two we expect to see soon. Surprisingly also Nike is showing us their new cleat, despite it being planned to be released after the big tournament. Last week we saw them all as blackouts on trainings.
The next x18+ isn't something that we wouldn't already know. We saw many colorways, but most of them in the X18.1 level. The top one is still exciting as hell. If you would want to know how are they, person to ask that question surely is Aymeric Laporte from ManC or Spurs Son Heung-Min. These two were spotted testing the upcoming model in a blackout and we have some pretty good images of them.
What's more interesting, because we know less about them is the upcoming new NEMEZIZ. This boot is very good in its starting release and that doesn't happen often. We forgot about it because of many teak of the X and the fact that the market isn't yet used to have this line as one of the options. We think that it's bit underpromoted. First look at the boot wore by Roberto Firmono tells us that there will be more knitted space on these. The "bandage" was always a gimmick in this line and nothing tells us that this story will be used once again, however final product colorways may prove us wrong.
What's interesting is Isco wearing the upcoming FTR10 Nike boot. As you know, because we wrote about that earlier the first one will be released on August 1'st. It seems, that what we have here may be the actual colorway because the teaser, first colorway is also a blackout. The player himself wore Mercurials and Hypervenoms in these past few months. It's interesting to see him in a boot that will be replacing the Magista. We guess that he's still searching for this one boot for him:)
Custom Van Persie F50 adizero
Robin Van Persie. Do you remember him? You surely should because of his career but also because of many times that we had the pleasure to write about his football boots. He was one of those players who probably never had custom shoes. Custom is not enough to say, because his cleats were many times a mix of two plus many extras added.
Here we have one of this boots. These pictures were posted on Instagram account named tae46. What we have here is... well, we have to say that this is a adizero IV in one of it's two launch colorways. This boot was available only in synthetic option. But Van Persie's model is far more different than just the material.
What we have here is a leather upper which is unusually stitched. It's combined with a synthetic back just like in the original boot. The sole is the one from adidas Predator adiPower. With all that we also have ID and some other smaller modifications. Can you see them?
New leak of X18.1. This time it's B&W
Some time back we presented a whiteout prototype of X18 with a AG sole plate. Now we can have a look on another one. W white-black version of the upcoming adidas football boot When we look at these that look like a final version and a serial colorway we suppose that the earlier one was really a sample and won't be released.
The white and black variation is one of many that we already saw before the premiere that will happen in upcoming weeks. Surely somewhere around the final stage of Champions League and World Cup. We have to say, that this one is probably the favourite at this point.
Leak of World Cup Nike Mercurial Vapor XII
Oh it is good! From some time we know that Nike will release a white boots pack for the World Cup. Since few weeks we know how the to models in new Mercurial generation look like. It isn't bad, but it's nothing in comparison to Superfly and Vapor that we will see on Russian soil.
Here is the WC Mercurial Vapor XII. What surprises us is the white, because the tongue area is knitted and in theory it would be hard to clean. Or maybe there is some kind of a secret layer that will make that easier? White looks great but what's more interesting is the placement and colour of the swoosh. It is moved from front to side and it's chrome Paired with the effect that we will surely see on the sole this will look amazing!
New Nike cleats! White FTR10!
Puma can be interesting, whiteout New Balance can be exciting, but surely that's nothing in comparison to the level of interest that every new boot from Nike will get. And when we mean a new boot, this time it's not about a colorway or generation. It doesn't happen that often. Nike will really release a new boot.
As you know these, the FTR10 will replace the Magista silo. Is this the first colorway? No, that's the second, but it will be released one day after the first one. We know, that Nike will present us the first top version of the FTR10 as a blackout! When will that happen? On August 1'st.
Next-gen New Balance Furon leak. Whiteout!
As we wrote many times, Furon 3.0 from New Balance looks like a great boot. What we wrote many times is that we have some opinions from people who can wear the prototypes from New Balance. We heard many good things about Tekela and we also heard that the Furon 4.0 is already a finished product. And it is also great. Now we have the first chance to look at it.
Here it is. A prototype, and a great looking one as well because it's a whiteout. We love it. What have changed? Not much really. We don't have these panels that we have in the 3.0 but the overall shape is pretty close to one we know. We guess that the boot got thinner, going in the speed-boot direction. Without the Visaro in the offer we think that this is a good idea.
Are these panels on the side made from a see-through material? How soft is the upper? Is the tongue area knitted? These are the questions that we ask ourselves looking at them. For now it seems that New Balance know what they are doing and they made progress. Maybe they hired people who worked at Umbro year back, because there we had the same story.
New Concave "Atomic Burst" football boots collection
Concave is a brand that we don't write a lot, but when there is a reason we surely do. It's a Australian company that doesn't really make boots that we would see as something exceptional, but they get pretty good exposure because of close relationship with one of world's biggest stores. Now they released a new pack. The Atomic Burst.
It surely is colourful. As always there are three models that the brand has in it's portfolio. The one that has our biggest attention is the Volt+ that reminds us of... one of woman's colorways of the Nike Mercurial Vapor X.
When we take a second look, other two that are bit darker look far more interesting. The Halo+ and Aura+ have few things that caught our eye when we looked at signs of good performance. They look like many boots that we had in the past, but at the same time are kind of fresh because times of adiPure or T90 Laser have passed If you miss cleats like that you may want to take a look at Concave
First leak of TF X18+ new colorway
The premiere is getting closer. We are pretty sure that now we know the past colorway of X17, the "mint" one. Future of current generation is surely far more clear then what will be going on when the X18 will be released. We already saw few colorways and here's another one.
We see it for the first time, but that's not all. What we have here is a TF version of next-gen X. Looking at it we would guess that this is a 18.1 because the upper looks actually pretty good. However, looking at the insole we see that this is a 18.3. We guess that this is a pretty good sign.
Second leak of NB Tekela official colorway
We et excited really easily. In 207 New Balance released a first boot that we could say some good things and that's why expect more to come. We already know that before the World Cup NB will present the new Tekela boot. We showed you the first colorway HERE, and here's another one.
We expected a lot, because of Furon 3.0 and good opinions from people that already wore the Tekela. These feelings were calmed down by the first leak, as well as this one. To be hones at this point the boots don't look like anything that we could be as excited as we are about any boots from Nike or adidas. That covers both the looks, as well as whet we can expect from the performance part when we look at these.
Let's hope, that this is just a impression. Our opinion about the weird visual side won't change but that will mean nothing when when we will put them on and they will turn out great.
Unreleased colorway of first-gen Puma ONE
Lately we have many leaks of Puma football boots and these stories don't end just with boots that we will see in near future but also some that were meant to be released in past, but some reasons they weren't. It turns out that Puma planned something that was similar to what was released just few days back. Green ONE.
A Puma ONE in color very similar to one that was just released was also planned in the original leather Puma ONE from 2017. When it comes to quality and performance it surely wasn't our favourite, unlike the one that we can buy now. Despite that it surely is interesting to see a prototype of a boot that was planned but never got to see the daylight, or at least not in many pairs.
Under Armour released second Magnetico colorway
We wrote about them not so log ago and here they are. Recently Under Armour ended the Clutchfit line and replaced it with the new Magnetico. We are not too optimistic about the new boot, it;s hard for us to have a opinion when we don't even have access to the cleats but just like all new boots, for some time we will be interested.
As we expected this release is bit special. Unlike the first serial colorway, which was pretty flashy and colourful, this one is dark, mysterious, with a extra touch of silver on the sole plate. UA did whet adidas does for years now. A layer of shiny coating makes the boots look great. Of course that's something that will wear off. Unfortunately.
Of course we can complain about the availability of these but let's keep in mind that the most important thing is performance. If you are willing to do more than a XXI century client should and get them from somewhere abroad you may be surprised with something that we cannot see just from the pictures. If you do so and you will find something worth of sharing please share by writing to us.
Mizuno will release (almost) blackout of Morelia Neo II
Surely the most importaint leak of Mizuno boots is one with the next generation of Rebula which we showed you previously. We have a new one. It is kind of boring, but may interest these few fans of the brand. In every club we visit there is that one person who loves Mizuno.
It's another colorway of Morelia Neo. A nearly-blackout. One colourful element is the Morelia Neo logo on the back. It makes the boot look similar to the Mizuno box, if you know how it looks like. It looks great but we surely would like to see something more from Mizuno.
Gray adidas X 18.1. Serial or prototype?
The adidas X 18 topic will surely be getting hotter and hotter. We already had some leaks, both of the 18.1 and 18+ versions. Lasttime we wrote about them we presented a whiteout with a AG sole plate. Today we have a leak that causes the same question as the previous one.
What we have here is a gray version of the X 18.1. It may be a serial release. We had colorways similar to this, for example in the Ace 18 line. But it may alo be a serial, or at least special edition that will be released. We know that adidas has many boots and concepts that finally won't end up in stores. We wonder what will be the future of these ones.
Blue-silver Puma ONE 18.1
Is it really a 19.1. We showed you this one many times already and it's hard to believe that Puma would let so much to be leaked so ahead of the premiere time. Some say, that this is not a 19.1 but just a "lifting" of the 18.1. Most important thing is of course that today we show you another colorway, the navy blue-silver. But surely also plans that Puma has for them are something that is worth to discuss.
Sure, this can be just a refreshed version. adidas did the same with the first adizero, but that boot had just few modifications made in the construction and the difference was mainly visual. Here, let's face it, we have a completely new boot. Not calling them a new generation would be something as strange as adidas doing the opposite with X16 and X17. They are pretty much the same.
As you know we like the currently sold Puma ONE, these however raise few questions, mainly about the way that the upper will be able to keep our feet steady. We hope that there are some thing that we are not able to see here, and that will make this boot another good release by the German brand.
Leak of two future Morelia Neo football boots colorways
In autumn Mizuno will release two new serial colorways of Morelia Neo. Every other one is a big surprise because the time that Japanese brand keep them alive is something that is fascinating for us. Soon this boot will be a witness of climate change, many wars and generations of footballers. We guess that thei'r destiny is to share Copa Mundial fate.
One is so close to a colorway that already was released that we won;t even bother to describe them. There already was a red Morelia Neo, and saying that iw was the first, not the second generation is something that will just not pass.
The second is interesting and we are surprised that Mizuno can make a variation that we didn't already seen. It's a pretty simple idea - gold. Despite our opinion about all this we have to say that we love gold boots and this one is something that we will be waiting to see. Just as the next generation:)
Another photo of the "original" predator color on 18+
Last week adidas presented a new collection of long-awaited black cleats containing all four silos. This one was not a series, promoted one but a special bonus. Next from adidas should be the classic. X17 on board.
Which one will it be? That' s not the most important question. the real one is the one about X line. Will there be no X18 in this color, which we can show on Predator, or maybe this will end up as a Pred-exclusive. Could be. However remember, that adidas always leaks future colorways. Copa 18 and this one was already released....
New colorway of Mizuno Rebula football boots
On TEPY.PL when we have nothing to say about Mizuno it;s really quiet, but when we do news are dropping almost everyday. We showed you the first leak of second-gen Rabula and now we are going back to the current one with a brand new release.
What;s new is the lime colorway of a boot that was a only good thing made by Mizuno in 2017. Japanese brand didn't do much when it comes to marketing in this few years, but what;s going on now is almost nothing. They don;t even have a decent player on the fields and many times it;s a coincidence when we hear about a new release and pass the info on.
With this new Rebula colorway there is also a new Morelia Neo II edition but we don;t have any decent pictures of it. Today is the day when we don;t have humour to be polite and don;t say things straight. So here it is. Mizuno, it's really time for you to do bit more than you do. Or to be honest, a lot more!
World Cup Nike Mercurial Superfly IV football boots
And here we go again with the World CUp. This time with a boot that is surely the most exciting one. The new Mercurial Superfly VI. After the premiere we dodn't had to wait to long for these to appear. We see, that we will get a second Mercurial with the Dynamic Fit collar after the last year's Ronaldo's chapter.
As we wrote in the article about World CUp Hypervenom, white boots always look good, however this time we are bit sceptical about these. We got used to he new design but somehowe here it just doesn't fit. We would probably have better impression of the Vapor. What do you think about the World Cup Superfly?
Future Puma ONE colorway like old F50 adizero
Another colorway of Puma's boots. Please, sit and watch. We have another beautiful here. A orange ONE 19.1 that will be probably released somewhere near the end of 2018. What do these remind you of?
Of course thay are probably a pair to the orange FUTURE 18.1 that we already showed you. But that's not what we have in mind. There are some colorways that you just have to remember and this one look just like the adidas F50 adizero II and III. It was also a beautiful mix of chrome and orange. In proper light they looked magnificent. And these ones will surely do also.
This is the upcoming generation of ONE. We guess that the name is ONE 19.1 so these will be released in December or maybe even January. To be honest even we are expected to see them so early!
New photos of upcoming Mercurial CR7 indoors and furfs
This will be a interesting topic for next few weeks or months. We know few Mercurials from the new generation, including the upcoming first CR7 edition. We already presented the variation on one photo, today we come back with more. Also on turfs and indoors.
On the back of the boot we see something that we haven't saw before. It's the red and green of Portugal that proves that the upcoming Ronaldo "chapter" will be dedicated to the country of birth and national team success. Which one? Or maybe it's not quite about football?
On the back of the boot we have a "C" which is places on something that looks similar to a compass. So we guess that it's a link to the country's history. That would be nice. Most of Ronaldo's editions were much about himself in relation to the place or situation that he was in. This one is bit more patriotic.
Mint future colorway of NEMEZIZ 17.1
Is this the next NEMEZIZ? It may be. We always look for color similarities and as you know what we have here is similar to what we saw on few leaks of X 17. The one that Benzema leaked as first and at the same time the one that is probably the last one of the generation.
We dodn't saw leaks of NEMEZIZ that woud be a better match, so we guess that that's it. We have to say that it's hard to say about sutch a good boot (from performance point of view) that we don't like it, but this colorway could be more flashy. It's calm and bit too light, but on second hand many may expect that. So let it be.
How is NEMEZIZ doing? When looking at popularity we thing that they are pretty mutch unapreciated. Not many people wear them and that's a shame because we thing that it's a really great boot. Maybe thats because adidas didn't focuse their marketing on the real value of the boot but on a gymmyck? What do you think?
Nike presented "cheetah" edition of new Superfly VI
First we saw them on feet of Cristiano Ronaldo during Real Madid's training session. We thought that Nike made a one pair just for him taking us back at some of the previous designs that we know from years back. After all, first time then we saw the "safari" print was on a CR7 Superfly II. But it turned out that there's more.
We see that there is not only the cheetah print, which is a obvious link to the campaign surrounding the new Mercurials. Or at least part of it because besides them we also see KIM JONES sign. Who's he? A designer from a company that makes handbags. We know that collaborating is fancy now and adidas does that, but honestly, this stuff is nothing that a man interested in football would care about. So also we will not dig deeper and leave that on the side. It's not important.
As far as we know this special version of the new Mercurial will be available for public, but n limited quantities. Renaldo is expected to wear them officially in the game against PSG. Besides the print we have to point out that the sole plate looks different. Doesn't have that shine that we know from the original release and studs are see-through.
We really like the edition, but it;s too bad that we have some guy that isn;t related to football mixed. We cannot see any value in this and just as messing with the Mercurial Superfly and Vapor names, we see that as a weird move with the print. Safari is safari.
Custom adidas Predator by Jack the Ripper
Not so long ago adidas presented the Deadly Strike collection at a special event. Thay don't do that with every new colorway so it was surely something to notice. But tat's not all. We had many great boots there, of course we mean the new X, NEMEZIZ and Pred's, but tat's not what we want to talk about. You could spot something even more interesting.
These special boots were custom Predators. A special boot made for this event in two colorways bo a guy known from Instagram as Jach The Ripper. This arsticts who doeas a lot in customising boots was asked by the prand to prepare something special. And so he did.
It abviously is a Predator. We have it's sole plate and we see the newest colorway. One doubt is the collar area. Here it is replaced with something similar to what we have in the NEMEZIZ. To be honest the boot in this cinfiguration looks really good!
Another extra is what we see in the upper. It isn't the same as in standard Predators. The upper is covered in something that looks like scales. We don't know how they were made but the result looks impressive.
The second boot shares the role that recently is played by Copa 18.1 It teases a colorway that will be released in near future. This time it's the classic Predator variation that will be presented shortly. COngratulations and respect for great work for Jack The Ripper. We hope to se more football boots from him!
Second generation Athleta O'Rei football boots
We surely can say that Athleta is a new brand in football boots world. Sure, thay are known in futsal but the fact that just not so long ago we got noticed them on our radar says it all. FIrst impression was great because one of brand's models with the O'rei label (we don't really get if the O'rei is a model name?) looked really good. Now there is a new version, already in two colorways.
To be honest at first we were it dissapointed but that's mainly because the forst boot was so good. The new stitching doesn't look as good as it seems to be in the forst one, however still we cannot decline logic in what we see and it also look like the leathers used in thiese is fairly good.
We would love to take a look at them. Once we even adivced on of Ekstraklasa (polish first divisuon) player to buy them because he was looking for just that. It turned out that Athleta isn't shipping outside china. That's not too good, specialy if you keep in mind that most of things in world are baing shipped out of china. Athleta, keep up the good work, but let us know it!
Second generation of Mizuno Rebula!
This is something that we wouldn't expect to see week back. But we do. We are glad to be the first to show you the second generation of Mizuno Rebula. Saying that about a Mizuno boot not few years after the premiere of the current generation is pretty shocking, we must say :)
We don't have much. The first impression isn't too good because the colorway reminds us of Basara which was a absolute failure. Rebula however is a good boot. Even very good! We don't see many changes on this view and we don't expect Mizuno to make many. That will be a good thing. Stay tuned for more leaks of Mizuno football boots.
Leak of orange Puma FUTURE 18 football boots colorway
Wow! And we really mean it. We don't know if there will be so many colorway of Puma football boots or is it just that they are leaked so well. Here's another one. And it is another great one!
We remind ourselves of the orange evoTOUCH. Here we have more black but the similarity is obvious. It ends on visual side because FUTURE seems to be a much better football boot than the one we could buy months back. When will it be released? We don't know. But we will surely wait for this one!
Will there be another black Puma football boots pack
Few days back we showed you two colorways of lifestyle Puma FUTURE. One of them was new. It was all black and we asked if they are a sign tat Puma will release another collection of black cleats. We guess that the answer is yes. As you can see below.
The first one is a top version of FUTURE 18.1 Another one after some blackouts that we saw as teasers and the black/yellow one that was seen in December and now got re-released again. Too bad that the cat is grey, all black would be way better. Got a marker?
The second one is a cheaper version of ONE 18. Or 19? As you know we already showed some leaks of what we expect to be a future generation. This is how it will look. For the first time you can see what we expect to be the 19.2. We wonder how soon will these be released? It seems that the second gen, currently sold ONE 18 can be a few-months release.
Leak of next New Balance Tekela colorway
Last week we wrote about a blackout of a new NB football boot wore by Aaron Ramsey on Arsenal's training. Today we are coming back with fort photos of a serial colorway which probably will be the launch one. New Balance Tekela are expected to be released before the World Cup.
What we have is a new type of upper for this brand and at the same time something that we pretty much know. A knitted upper, reminding us a bit of the NEMEZIZ. The rest of the boot is a mystery. A synthetic upper with a layer of printing. Thanks to it NB will be able to do whatever they want in terms of design. That did what you see. Do you like it?
We have to say that from the visual side it's nothing special. Thank god New Balance is known from pretty beautiful special editions. We are dying to see the performance part of the boot because we heard that they will be pretty good. Another thing that we heard is that... NB already has a Tekela II prepared!
Next Puma colorways on lifestyle FUTURE boots
As we wrote earlier Puma will release lots of colorway both of their ONE as well as FUTURE model. Last year something that got pretty popular and is a hot thing right now are lifestyle versions of cleats. Nike did some pretty exciting things, the Predator and NEMEZIZ in TR versions are also great. Now it's time for Puma.
We didn't saw them in previously released colorways, or at least we didn't notice them, but we can show you few upcoming ones on leaks. One is a silver and mint FUTURE that we already showed you in FG. The other is a one that we don't think was leaked yet.
In theory we had a black FUTURE but it had some color. This one, except the sole which obviously doesn't change despite the upper is all black. Doest that mean that Puma will release another ONE and FUTURE in black. We guess that the answer is yes.
Reminding one of future Puma ONE colorways
Puma has some good football boots now-days and as you can see they won't hesitate to use that. Sometimes we complain about long waiting time for new colors, that is the case with Nike recently, but it surely isn't something that we can say about the less popular German brand.
You saw them already but we guess that it will be good to remind them with a new photo. The white-milticolor colorway of ONE 18.1. We will surely write bit more about the two versions of top Puma ONE. What we are still missing is the mysterious special version with no laces. It seem that that was just a prototype. Unfortunately.
Leak of first Pogba Predator colorway
Which adidas players have their own editions. Messi, obviously. Who else. Only one The name is Pogba. Since the Frenchman moved to Manchester United, which is sponsored by the German brand he got few editions of the Ace. This time what we should expect is the Predator. And here it is.
It's classy. Classy as hell. In a way it remands us of one of the classic Predator colors. We mean the green one, the same that we saw few months back on a remake of the adidas Predator Precision. Colors seem to be darker, but that's surely what adidas had in mind here.
On the tip if the collar we have the PP logo. Probably the same thing is placed on the back of the boot. We don't quite get what's the relation between Pogba and this particular colorway. Or maybe there isn't any? This will be surely explained to us soon.
Messi's NEMEZIZ to the violet collection
The upcoming violet collection from adidas will have it's own NEMEZIZ and we wrote about them HERE. As always when we know the serial one the next question is, will Messi havehis own? From time to time he plays in the same colorways that all the rest, but some time passed since we saw that happen.
And we will vait more. It seems that with the next adidas releases the argentinian will get another own colorway. We leak it today in one of lower versions. COlors obviously link this to violet Predator and copa and green X17.
The design mixes all three colors available in other silos. For the forst time we may say that we obviously don't like what we see. After messing up with the Messi line we think that adidas releases too many special player editions draining attention from the NEMEZIZ line. And that's why NEMEZIZ seems to be not as popular as it could.
World Cup Nike Hypervenom Phantom III DF
The more leaks of this white collection we see the more probablye the story becomes. Many times we showed you boots from this upcoming white Nike collection. White boots, especially from Nike are always a sensation so maybe it's a good strategu to mix that with the opportunity that a World Cup surely is.
Today we give you a new image showing the Hypervenom Phantom III DF. Recently we sowed you Magista Obra (probably the last colorway in this generation) and Tiempo Legend. We guest that the Hypervenom is the next to go and this may be also one of last colorways. It's just hapf of year older that the Obra so if you want a white one this will probably be the last chance to get one.
Violet Copa 18.1 to match with the last X17
Well… this time we are little confused. Did you noticed that recently the Copa colorway always leaks what will be released in all other silos in few weeks. That was the case of the white one teasing the Deadly Strike pack in January and the black/red teasing the original colorway of Predator. But what's this?
What we are looking for in the near future is a special black edition from adidas, the "original Pred" pack and violet one. Thank's to Benzema we know that the order on X line should be gold, white and green/violet. So we guess that this Copa should be released with the Deadly Strike. It dodn't se we guess that the black/red/white boots will be released in between, but without the X 18?
Mizuno released new Morelia Neo colorway
We suppose that we should write about this, however we won't hide our scpatical feeling for what Mizuno is doing with the Morelia Neo. Recently we got a new colorway. And we addmitt, it's a pretty one. Colourful, something that we didn't saw yet in the Neo, and it's a hard thing to do. Isn't it?
We guess that this is a special edition because it seems that "normal ones" have solid color and in the specials thare's always something going one. We had two editions of the origami, not so long ago a interesting orange/black one and now this. It looks nice.
But it's boring. We gat that Morelia will never change and that's great. That's how it should be done. We're talking about the classic morelia. Noe shouldn't get the smae treatment and we guess that that's not the case. Because if it was, than Mizuno woudn't release... or wait, they wouldn't pretend that there is a new generation of the Neo. We hope that soon we will get a third one and most of all, that we will notice the difference :)
What's next from Puma? Green ONE and FUTURE
This is another article that may turn to be late. Is it? You tell us! However, on second hand Puma is a company that has issues in availability in some markets, for example in our, Polish. Co we are confident to say that even if they were already released, we surely don't have them in our stores.
What we have here is the upcoming (or newest) collection of Puma football boots. The green one featuring both ONE 18.1 as well as FUTURE 18.1 This is the one which had the leak of a unusual ONE 18 without laces We guess that we will see if this one will be released or will they turn out to be just a prototype.
Second colorway of Superfly VI and Vapor XII
You probably already noticed but let's officially point that our. After the premiere and launch of new Mercurial colorway Nike released also the black one. We knew that this will happen, the color was leaked, but still we are very happy to see it. It's clear, that this one isn't something that Nike focuses on. But we will. At least in this article.
It obviously is a reversed color scheme. What Nike did reminds us a bit of Puma's strategy. Not so long ago every colorway they released was in a flashy, and a alternative dark colorway. Also here customers will divide into two fractions and every one of them will get what they like. You probably know that in the meantime we got the new Mercurials so you may expect to hear our opinion online soon!
For us the most important thing is how the new boot will perform. Color is a secondary thing, however we also are excited to see something new. We ourselves like the orange one better. Because it's a Nike color, reminds us of fits Vapor VIII which was great and... we like flashy! We hope to see these soon, also in our office. What is your opinion? Which one do you like more?
Take a look at upcoming adidas black cleats
When we are writing this we pray that in the meantime before publication adidas won't release these boots. It seems, that these may be right around the corner. Many times we wrote and even show the next blackout pack.
For a long time blackouts were something exclusive. players got them before the official launch of new cleat and they still do. From time to time we made them ourselves by services like NIKEiD. All brands noticed that old-style beauties are something that we desired and there they go.
First was Nike with their academy pack. Now adidas releases another black collection. Surprisingly fast because we had one not so long ago. Of course then we didn't had Predators. adidas doesn't really make blackouts. last time we had "magnetic" elements, that were hardly noticeable. This time also they won't be as black as we would like them to be.
Today we present the Predator 18+ and X 17+. One of last X in this generation. As you can see the idea for these are black-chrome coatings on the sole. It looks great. Once again adidas didn't really do what we like (real blackouts) but what we see is so good that we can't complain. We really like them.
We wonder how will the lower models look like. We don't expect to see boots from the .2 and .3 levels, because this will be a special edition, but also .1 level makes us wonder. There we don't have a chrome coating. So how will they be different?
We really like what adidas did here and can't wait for them, as well as the lifestyle editions, that as far as we know will also be released. Especially the Predator TR, which is really good and will look great with these chrome/black details. This is something that we will surely want to get at our office. And on our feet!
New Balance new football boots - TEKELA
You may remember, that few weeks back we wrote that New Balance is preparing a new boot for the World Cup? We did. We did that when we also wrote about the progress that they made with the new Furon 3.0 and with hopes that they will continue to do that with new releases. Thank's to Aaron Ramsey (who else?) we hot the opportunity to check them out for the first time.
At one of Arsanal's training sessions Ramsey wore blackouts of the new model that now we know, will be named as Tekela. New Balance Tekela football boots are expected to replace the Visaro. Good move, because that one was never a good boot so they may al well start all over. What do we have here? We don't see to much, but we can speculate.
The boot looks little bit like the Ace 17.1 L which was very good so we like the direction that NB is heading. One big difference is that here we probably have a synthetic upper. Like in most new boots the upper part of the boot so the tongue and low collar seem to be knitted. Apart of the Ramsey leak, we heard that the boots is absolutely fantastic. These were words of someone from New Balance so we have to have some distance to that, but we can't say that we are not excited by them.
Umbro did it again. New Accuro doesn't lookt to good
Recently we published few articles about the new line-up of Umbro, including the second-gen Accuro. They were press released delivered by Umbro and as always in this type of publications, they shared official thoughts of the brand. Many times this type of article would do, but sometimes we see something that we would like to comment. Unfortunately this time there not mutch pisitive things to say. Please keep in mind that one of the reasons we have to say that it's bad is that not so long ago Umbro did so good!
How great Umbro was when they had Velocita II, great Speciali, Medusae and even first Accuro, that's something that you read many times. They were both good looking and useful. This was the peak of brands performance and we think that there wasn't a time when this brand did better than back then. Recently we saw the new generation of Medusae. After great first one the second is seen by us as a complete failure. Unfortunately the new Accuro seems to be the same.
First thing is visuals. This time not even us, but other sites that normally don't give their personal opinion commented the top model as a cheap-looking. We share that view. Probably the design is bit better than what we had in Medusae, but let's be honest, this just doesn't look attractive. This boot doesn't even try to be competitive. Recently we saw upcoming models of football boots made by Joma and they are way better than what we have here. Joma lot better than Umbro. That's surely not something that you would expect.
The brand says about the Accuro II, that it;s biggest advantage is the comfort. that;s pretty strange, because we don;t remember the first one to be focused at that quality, but OK, let it be. One good thing about the Medusae II was the commercial. This time not even this is good. In the video we see that a player runs day and night in his new boots. OK, comfort is important, but what;s the sense? No one uses boots for that long, there is a point where you have to balance comfort and other qualities and putting so much pressure on comfort doesn't make sense. Especially if A - it probably isn't really THAT comfortable, and B, the logic behind that doesn't make sense. You need max, 200 minutes in a boot, not 1000!
We asked Umbro about comment on changes or other reasons for which the recent releases look as they look. We got no real explanation. Too bad, because we would really like to know what it takes to make one of biggest progresses of recent years fall so bad, that they ended up behind Joma.
Leak of silver PUMA 18.1
Lately there are so many leaks of football boots made by Puma that of we have two days without them it seems unusual. Don't worry, we have more and what we can show you today is surely one of those more exciting news. Sure, it's not a new model or a special edition, but the colorway itself looks really good.
This is one of future colorways of the Puma FUTURE 18.1 football boots. What else to say about them if not that they are absolutely beautiful? We have chrome, and you all know we love that. And the secondary color is also great. Flashy, and we are sure that it will work great with the effect that the chrome layer will give us when playing in artificial light. This is one of most anticipated releases of this year from Puma.
This Joma Propulsion won't be released + new leak
One of most interesting articles and leaks of last few days was the one about a Joma football boot. That's unusual because that brand surely isn't one of exciting ones. As you know that changed, because the new Propulsion Lite is surely something special. Isn't it?
Yes it is. The concept isn't something new but the execution looks really good. It isn't something like Under Armour did with the Spotlight, where the extra cover makes the bulky. The boot is slick, looks light and makes a great impression. Today however, we have two news for you. First is the second colorway of the boot which we present on the graphics. Second is not so good.
There are rumours, that this boot looks that way only on samples and finally for some reasons Joma decided not to proceed with this construction and stay with standard, or close to standard tongue. This is surely not something that we can be happy about. If rumours will turn out to be truth the second Propulsion will still be a good boot, but not as exciting as it could be.
Joma Propulsion Lite like adidas X18+
Now this is something! It seems that not only Nike can jeep its secret for a long time. Of course not as many eyes are looking at Joma, but still, absence of this boot on the football boot leak stage is surprising. We are happy to fill the hole.
What we have here is a new generation of Joma Propulsion Lite. A very good model that we had at our office not so long ago. We called it Joma version of adizero and advised to get them because of good price/quality ratio. Many brands follow the leaders and for many this is a failure. Their products look ridiculous, and recent good example of that is Umbro with the new Accuro. Even Joma has it;s Champion, which is also funny.
This however looks really good. We have a knitted part covering the laces. That makes the boot look similar to adidas X 18+. It looks very promising! Good to see Joma in form and making progress with a boot that was already very good.
Nike Mercurial Highlights, from fast to faster, part 7
Read about older models in previous articles on TEPY.PL!
THE 2014 NIKE MERCURIAL SUPERFLY IV: A SLINGSHOT FOR THE FOOT
The genesis: The latest version was designed for the player who is always a step ahead of his marker.
The tech: Through a new three-knit weave, Nike Flyknit technology on the upper put less material between the foot and the ball to enhance touch. The mid-top Dynamic Fit Collar improved the connection between the player and boot. The addition of Brio cables, knitted directly into the upper, locked the foot to the boot's full-length carbon plate for efficient transfer of power through the ground. Added studs on the boot’s heel increased stability while the track-inspired toe traction integral to the Mercurial’s DNA was vital in providing grip and propulsion.
The look: The Dynamic Fit Collar, which debuted in the Nike Magista, undoubtedly transformed the football boot silhouette. But when it joined the Mercurial line, the new look transferred from pitch informing the HTM Nike Free Flyknit Mercurial SP and, ultimately, kick-starting one of the most significant trends in recent footwear history.
THE 2016 NIKE MERCURIAL SUPERFLY V: four firsts raise the bar again
The genesis: Every component was created to work in concert toward the singular goal of unleashing a player’s full speed potential, creating the ultimate expression of Mercurial.
The tech: Designers eliminated the gap that previously existed underfoot by using a new anatomical plate that mapped the natural contours of the foot. A new vacuum forming process enabled them to engineer a single-layer chassis for the sole plate, which was 40-percent lighter — yet it’s stronger and more responsive — than the carbon fiber plate it replaced. For the first time, finite element analysis (FEA) testing was used to provide scientific data to identify the best traction pattern for the speed-focused player, landing on a data-informed pattern that acted like claws when a player accelerated. Data-informed texture mapping was used for the first time to create a 3D Flyknit “speed rib” texture where raised surfaces provided friction between the upper and ball.
The look: The aesthetic potential of the Mercurial Superfly V is best articulated by Cristiano Ronaldo's series of special edition colorways. These include the Chapter 5: Cut to Brilliance, which celebrates Ronaldo’s career goal scoring exploits.
What's next? Of course the new 2018 Nike Mercurial Superfly 360
